Not every wisdom tooth has to go
A wisdom tooth that is upright, bites properly and can be cleaned does not automatically need removing. The dentist will say plainly which tooth is already causing trouble and which one can just be reviewed.

The day itself
Local anaesthetic until the area is fully numb, the gum opened only as much as needed, the tooth sectioned so it comes out through the smallest possible opening, then stitches. Raise your hand at any point and we stop.

Healing & stitches
Bite on gauze, use a cold pack on the first day, take the medicine as prescribed, then come back for a wound check and stitch removal on the day we arrange.
