Is wisdom tooth surgery painful?
The local anaesthetic means you should not feel pain during the procedure. If you do, raise your hand and we stop. Mild pain and swelling for 2–3 days is managed with pain relief.
What should I avoid after surgery?
Don't rinse forcefully, don't smoke, avoid hard foods, and apply cold compress for the first 24 hours.
